Bio of Candra Schatz (Assistant Vice President):

Candra Schatz began her safety career in 2000 at American Airlines in Tulsa, OK, gaining experience in safety audits and compliance at the world’s largest aircraft maintenance base.  She specialized in human factors, safety culture, and behavior-based safety as well as lean manufacturing and process efficiency principles.  Candra supported innovative approaches to improving safety such as qualitative and quantitative safety culture assessments, a just culture policy and process for understanding errors and violations, a human factors program, and the full scale implementation of a federally approved safety management system at American Airlines.  She spent time as a facilitator, instructor, and leader, culminating her role at American Airlines as a leader of a large team of safety investigators that focused on safety and compliance root cause analysis investigations based across the United States.  In 2024, Candra transitioned into the role of Assistant Vice President, Safety and Leave Administration and DFW International Airport where she supports the occupational and fleet and driver safety programs, as well as the comprehensive workers compensation and disability/FMLA programs for DFW Airport Board employees

Bio of Cameron Schwartz (Sales Executive – EHS):

Cameron Schwartz is a Sales Executive who is excited to bring his safety and technology related skills to Origami Risk. Cameron also served as a Client Executive at Origami Risk, helping clients implement safety functionality and consulting on best practices to solve challenges clients were having in safety. Prior to joining Origami Risk, Cameron started his career in information technology serving as a consultant to businesses and eventually landed a role as an IT director in the concrete industry. As time went on, Cameron transitioned from information technology into safety, where he worked to develop safety programs to protect employees from hazards and improve safety culture within the manufacturing world. As a prior client of Origami Risk, Cameron brings a unique perspective of using the Origami platform to drive change on the client-side of the business. Cameron holds a degree in Occupational Health and Safety from Columbia Southern University.
